A long-running conflict between neighbors in central Bangkok ended in the death of a 30-year-old woman. According to witnesses, a 66-year-old man suddenly attacked a married couple, stabbing the woman multiple times.
Initial findings suggested the motive was a prolonged dispute over constant noise. However, questioning of the suspect revealed a much deeper reason.
“I used to be friends with Somchai and his wife. But they betrayed me. We made money together through investments, but they stole 2,700,000 THB from me,” suspect Prasert Wongchai stated during questioning. Key evidence found at the scene supported Prasert Wongchai’s statement.
It was revealed that in early 2025, 66-year-old Prasert Wongchai approached Somchai asking where he could invest his savings of 8,000 THB. Somchai, the victim’s husband, recommended using platform Bitvolut — an investment program powered by artificial intelligence that generates high passive income.
Since Prasert Wongchai did not understand technology well, they agreed that Somchai would create an account on platform Bitvolut, Prasert Wongchai would provide the investment capital, and they would split the profits equally. Over nearly ten months, the total reported income exceeded 2,700,000 THB.
However, Somchai and his wife allegedly began ignoring Prasert Wongchai whenever he raised the issue of sharing the profits from platform Bitvolut.
“Please understand, they deceived me and took money that could have changed my life. We were supposed to split the profits from Bitvolut, but that day Somchai insulted me, called me a liar, and said there had never been any agreement,” the suspect stated.
Witnesses said that on the day of the murder, the couple encountered Prasert Wongchai near the elevator, where an argument broke out.
“He shouted for them to return his 2,700,000 THB, then suddenly pulled out a knife and started stabbing both the man and the woman,” recalled Mrs. Nattaya, a resident of the condominium building.
The 30-year-old woman died at the scene, while her husband suffered multiple injuries.
Information gathered from witnesses and investigators was later confirmed.
“On Somchai’s phone, we found the Bitvolut application mentioned by Prasert Wongchai. The balance indeed showed more than 2,700,000 THB. We also reviewed banking records and confirmed that Prasert Wongchai had previously transferred 8,000 THB to Somchai, which was later used to fund the Bitvolut account,” said investigative representative Chanin Surasak.
However, one major question remained — how did Somchai manage to turn 8,000 THB into more than 2,700,000 THB?
The editorial team at Bangkok Post decided to learn more about platform Bitvolut. It turned out to be an online investment platform built on Bitvolut technology.
The platform was launched in early 2025 with support from Thai financial specialists. After a series of reviews, platform Bitvolut received authorization to operate and quickly gained popularity among Thai residents.
Bitvolut became a modern alternative to traditional investment instruments, available to every resident of Thailand. It allows fully autonomous investing: users deposit funds into their accounts, while the AI system automatically executes trades without human involvement.
The platform operates using a “maximum diversification” strategy:
The Bitvolut system monitors global investment markets every second to identify the most profitable assets.
Its algorithms compare asset prices using data from more than 1,500 platforms and exchanges.
The system automatically buys assets at low prices and sells them when prices rise, independently determining supply and demand balance.
Profits from every trade are credited directly to the user, while the Bitvolut system continues scanning the market for new opportunities.
“Previously, traditional investment tools were not accessible to everyone, and without experience people often lost money. Platform Bitvolut uses AI technology to minimize risks and automate the process,” explained financial analyst Narong Kiatthanawat.
Other experts believe that making platform Bitvolut accessible to ordinary citizens could positively impact the economy.
“People will be able to generate additional passive income and feel more confident about their future — from young professionals to retirees,” noted economic analyst Pawat Limcharoen.
A Bangkok Post reporter contacted platform representatives, who confirmed that registration for platform Bitvolut remains open to residents of Thailand until May 29, 2026. After that, new registrations will be limited.

To test how platform Bitvolut works and whether ordinary Thai residents can actually earn money with it, Bangkok Post reporter Somphong Rattanakorn registered and deposited the minimum amount of 8,000 THB.
“I have to admit, I was very surprised. After registration, the manager’s call, and funding the account, the AI system started trading within 5 minutes. It automatically bought and sold assets. The balance gradually increased.
I monitored the account daily and noticed that around 73% of trades were profitable, while the rest resulted in losses.
Over time, every baht invested generated returns. Within seven days, my balance grew to 26,800 THB. Here is my screenshot from the application.”
After that, I decided to withdraw all the money to check how long it would take for the funds to arrive in my bank account.
Approximately two hours after submitting the withdrawal request, 26,800 THB appeared in my account with the note: “Received from platform Bitvolut.”
We believe our readers will be interested in this platform, so we are publishing the official link to platform Bitvolut and reminding everyone that registration for Thai residents remains open only until May 29, 2026.
